 We purchased the shop in 1998 and expanded the inventory with new recovery, spirituality and gift items. We launched a web site in 1999 and have served customers in many countries. 

 It is no secret that small independent bookstores face many challenges. Gratefully, our loyal customers and supportive community have kept us afloat. As this New Year began, we realized that The Twelve Step Shop is in need of some additional financial help. We are turning to you, our community, for the boost we need to sail into the future. We are having a fundraiser and since we are not a glum lot…

How it Works: 
For $10.00 you buy a Recovery or Original birthday to be displayed on both our online calendar [Click here to view] and in store calendar. 

When you buy a birthday as a gift, a special gift card can be sent to that person in your name. [Click here to view] In keeping with recovery traditions the calendars will list your first name and last initial. Recovery birthdays will also include the recovery year.

Example on May 5th, the calendar will say Carol L. 2000.

Recovery birthdays will be posted in red and Original birthdays will be posted in blue.
 ~Please be careful when submitting dates. No changes will be made once birthdays are posted.~

 When we stop selling birthdays we will produce a calendar for next year including photographs, quotes and everyone’s birthday. The calendars will be sold for the cost of production.
